Tawa Chicken | Quick, Easy and Delicious Chicken Recipe

Though tawa chicken recipe is not very old one, but it has become everyone's favourite. It is easy to make and so delicious to eat. You can make it at home and also for lunch or dinner gathering. There are many recipes of tawa chicken but this one is made without tomatoes and it is so good.


Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken                                   
  • 1/2 cup oil                                           
  • 2 tbsp garlic (choped)                       
  • 4 tbsp green chillies (choped)          
  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves                     
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice                            

For Chicken Marination:

  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Mix all these ingredients in chicken and smoke the chicken with hot piece of coal. Marinade the chicken for atleast half an hour.

For Spiced Yogurt:

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg & mace powder (jaifil javitri powder)             
  • 1 tsp all spices powder (garam masala powder)         
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds (roasted and crushed)            
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds (roasted and crushed)            
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric 

Recipe:
  1.  Pour oil in a frying pan or tawa.
  2.  Add some garlic, green chillies and chicken.
  3.  Cook for a minute then turn the chicken, and pour the spiced yogurt on chicken, add green   chillies and lemon juice. Cover and cook for few minutes until the liquid dries up.
  4.  Turn again and again add remaining yogurt, green chillies, lemon juice and chopped coriander   leaves. Cook until liquid dries up.
  5.  Serve hot with naan, paratha or puri paratha.
