Russian Salad:

What would be better than this creamy yet healthy and nutritious Russian salad which you can have any time, make it for any occassion, or have it to satisfy your untimely hunger.
If you are a diet conscious person, don't worry it is still the best option.  Amazed? want to know how? It's so simple, just make the dressing with yogurt instead of cream and mayo. But i would suggest you to use small amount of mayo as well, I mean 1 tsp of mayonnaise will definitely not make you fat but it will enhance the taste alot.




Ingredients:


  • Boiled Potatoes
  • Boiled Carrots
  • Apple
  • Capsicum
  • Pineapple
  • Boiled Peas
  • Boiled Beans


For Dressing:

  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
  • Cream 1/4 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Condensed milk 1/4 cup
  • (You can use 2-3 tbsp castor sugar instead of condensed milk)
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1-2 tsp

Method:

  • Mix all the dressing ingredients in a big bowl.
  • Take half cup of each fruit, vegetable and beans and add in dressing.
  • Mix well.
  • Serve cold.
