Home made Naan | Tandoori Roti Recipe



Ingredients:

  • 500 gms fine wheat flour (fine aata)
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp yogurt

Method:

  • Mix all dry ingredients in flour, then add wet ingredients and knead the dough that is not so hard nor so soft. Must leave at rest for atleast 20 minutes.
  • Make balls of the dough and again rest for 10 minutes.
  • Now roll a ball.
  • Put a pan (it must not be a non-stick pan) on high flame. Put the roti on pan and just after 4-5 seconds flip the pan over, roti will be stick on the pan. Now cook the roti upside down and cook over direct flame until it gets its color.
  • Now again flip the pan and put it on stove to cook the lower side on medium heat.
  • Enjoy your hot naan with gravy of your choice.
