Heat oil and fry onion until translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Add brinjals, potatoes, yougurt and all spices.
Cover and let it cook until brinjals and potatoes are tender.
Now add green chillies, tamarind pulp, coconut and sesame seeds, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame until oil comes up.
Serve with boiled rice.
