Hummus Recipe

 Hummus is a middle eastern dish,  commonly served as a dip or spread. Hummus is mostly served with pita bread or veggies like carrots and cucumbers. It's full of nutrients, mainly protein and fibre. Making hummus is very easy and you can have it as you like. Basic recipe of hummus is more or less same everywhere but you can always add your twist. 

Ingredients :

  • Chickpeas 2 cups (soft boiled) 
  • Tahini paste 1 tbsp 
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp 
  • Fresh garlic 1 tbsp (chopped) 
  • Salt
  • Olive oil 
  • Paprika powder 

Directions :

  • Blend together chickpeas,  tahini paste, lemon juice, chopped garlic and salt if needed (if you haven't added the salt while boiling the chickpeas). 
  • Dish out the hummus, pour olive oil over it and sprinkle paprika powder.  
  • Serve with pita bread or veggies of your choice or have it with some wraps, like shawarma.
