Spicy Fried Chicken Pasta Recipe

I am in love with the name of this recipe. You must be thinking that what is so special in this name that can make someone fall in love with. To elaborate this, I have to break the name in parts, 1st: Spicy- Oh my God!! Whenever I listen the word "spicy", I feel like eating something that is drastically spicy. It's because of my family that I don't use too much chillies in everyday food, because it's not only me for whom I cook daily, it's my husband, parents and kids also who eat the same food, that is why I do not make very spicy food daily but yes! I have solution for this... I use to eat different spicy sauces, chatnis, pickles, dips, or atleast some chillies if have nothing else to spice up my food. 
Okay! the next is, "fried chicken", I am obsessed with this thing, fried chicken in any shape, any style, is my love. You know I always make nuggets, fried chicken fingers, hot shorts etc for my daughter's school lunch. And I always make all these in double quantity, because every morning when I take out any such frozen chicken items from the freezer, I can't resist, and I fry one or two pieces extra for me. Though I can eat more, but I know if I will eat more than that, then I'll put on so much weight that I really don't want to. 
You guys must be thinking what a glutton I am....well for this, I can say...."Yes I am",,, but only for the things that are present in the name of this recipe. Spicy, Fried Chicken, And Pasta. Yes I am fond of "pasta" too..But I am not going to elaborate that how much I love pasta, because you are already thinking that I am a glutton...(with the smile on face)



Ingredients:

For Fried Chicken:

  • 250 gms boneless chicken (small cubes)
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh garlic paste
  • oil for frying
Mix all ingredients to make a thick paste (add water if needed), then add chicken and deep fry. Keep aside the fried chicken.

For Pasta:

  • 1 packet pasta (boiled according to the given directions on the packet)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup chilli garlic sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce(optional)
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp red chilli flakes(or to taste)
  • 2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 medium onion (cubed)
  • 1 medium capsicum (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp green onion
  • salt (as needed)

Method:

  • Saute garlic in oil, add all sauces, vinegar chilli flakes, black pepper and cook for a minute.
  • Add onion and capsicum, cook for one more minute.
  • Add fried chicken and green onion and salt if needed.
  • Add pasta and toss.
  • Dish out and sprinkle green onion on top.
