Fried chicken is the love of kids and many elders also. Fried chicken is a very good option for lunch or dinner or for lunch box as well, and the good part is that it is not so difficult to make and everyone loves it.

- 1 kg chicken (preferably thigh pieces or wings)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- salt
- 3 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- oil for frying
Method:
- Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp red chilli powder, garlic paste and 1/4 cup vinegar for at least an hour or preferably whole night.
- Add 1 tsp salt, baking soda, 1 tbsp red chilli powder and chinese salt or chicken powder if you want to, in flour.
- Coat all marinated chicken in the flour.
- Now dip the coated chicken in the left over buttermilk mixture and again coat in the flour.
- Deep fry the chicken on medium low flame in pre-heated oil until it turns golden brown.
- Do not cook on high or very low flame.
